Using discarded books and fire, I explore the traces and states of memory that remain after disappearance. Rolled and stacked paper forms reveal how fragments of memory support one another through repetition and accumulation, while burning transforms rather than destroys. Charred marks and layers of ash create depth, expressing the tension between disappearance and regeneration, memory and forgetting, control and chance.
